Review authenticity
Information to verify customer reviews
The so-called European Omnibus Directive is intended to modernize consumer law and ensure more protection in online trading.
Since May 28, 2022, as an online retailer, we have had to provide information as to whether we check the authenticity of customer reviews and, if so, how we check this.
Reviews online purchases
All ratings of online purchases are individually moderated by us before publication and checked for authenticity and only then activated. The customer review is recognized as a “verified purchase” by the system.
Ratings from buyers at fairs and events
Since direct sales to customers at trade fairs, events, Christmas markets, etc. are not traded via the system, it cannot classify the ratings of these buyers and marks them as “non-verified purchase“. Nevertheless, these ratings are also checked by us and only approved if the rating comes from a real buyer.
